Dream: Explosion/Terror Attack
I don't that dream often so when I do I remember in vivid detail. The following dream sequence took place Monday night/Tuesday (30th May) morning...
--------
I was in a car travelling north with my mom and my late dad, who was insistant on teaching me how to gamble casino style and beat the odds. We arrived at a casino, not being a gambler at all I prefered to wonder around the entertainment area whilst mom & pop hit the gaming area.
I came across this very olde english pub. The entrance fee was exorbitantly high but it looked like a lot of fun was being had by all inside. I spoke to a few people outside the pub trying to work out how much the entrance fee was going to cost me in my native currency. I paid the 100 pound entrance fee.
The waitress ladies were pelting everyone with tomatoes and other veggies and there was a lot of laughter. I estimate the décor and style to be around the early 1800's ? the waitresses were certainly dressed the part and the accents clearly english.
I heard screaming from outside and ran out to see what was happening. Looking out from the entertainment area (which was on the side of a hill) I saw a huge white explosive shock-wave cloud heading rapidly towards us ? too fast to run from. The force of the shock-wave blast bent trees and disintegrated much of the building structure around me.
I felt little of the force of impact ? I walked away unharmed whilst nobody else survived.
Back in the city (could be a small town) I was shopping with my wife and kids. People were rushing around in panic state buying and grabbing at everything they could ? total panic. Some of the people wanted to take our trolley and there was a bit of shoving and pushing to get clear of them. Driving home from the shopping centre took us past a section of the city that reminded me of landmark buildings o the western side of Johannesburg. Most of the buildings were destroyed.
We passed what appeared to be a railway shunting yard with several cargo/tanker type railway carraiges. A lone figure of a man was stumbling across the top of them ? terribly burn't and disfigured.
Back home in a quieter part of the city (more suburban) the local people were gathering after a mass funeral and we all met in a small park. There was a lot of grief, pain and tears as one by one they spoke of loved ones taken from them so quickly and without warning.
I returned to our small double storey house and met our domestic worker inside the kitchen. She remarked how lucky we were that we had our own little vegetable garden outside in the back yard. It was almost as if we knew what was coming and were prepared for this. While she talked she was slicing carrots into long thin strips (like you would do for a salad) and handing me the strips which I held in cupped hands ? fearful of dropping any ? the carrots were precious...
------
Woke up from this dream feeling VERY unsettled!
