5 Natural Disasters Headed for the United States

Earth is one rough place. Even the most devastating storms of recent years pale in sheer destructive power against outsize natural disasters of the past, such as continent-smothering ice sheets, ocean-raising floods, super volcanoes and the occasional asteroid. Because cataclysms will always be a regular feature of life on Earth, PM consulted with leading scientists to detail five more disasters that may be in store. Some will be beyond human control; others could be disasters of our own making. Either way, prepare for a real doozy.

meeting God

There was a boy who wanted to meet God.
He knew that the journey will be long to Gods home so he took a few
chocolate bars and a few cans of drinks in a back pack and started his
journey.
Three blocks from his home he saw an old man sitting in a park watching the birds.
The boy set down next to the man, opened one of his cans to drink.
He noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him a chocolate bar that he carried in his back pack, the old man took it and
smiled big and warm. The boy wanted to see that smile again so he offered the man a drink too. The man accepted the drink with a big warm smile and the boy was very happy.
They were sitting like that eating, drinking, and both smiling without saying a word.
When it became too dark and the boy felt that he was tired, he got up to go home. He only walked a few steps when he turn around and run back towards the old man gave him a hug and a kiss and in return got the most biggest smile he ever saw.
When the boy came home, he opened the door with a big smile on his face. His mother was surprised to see him so happy, so she asked him.
“What did you do today that made you so happy”?
And the boy said. “I ate lunch with God”. And just before his mother could say anything he said “And you know what, he has the biggest smile I have ever seen”.
Meanwhile the old man got home, still smiling and his son was surprised at how happy his father look and asked him. ”Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy”? and the old man said. “I ate a chocolate bar with God in the park, and he is much younger than I thought . . .”
Too often we under appreciate the value of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening friend, a compliment, or a small deed. Things that can change our lives.
People come into our lives for a reason, some for a short while and some for a life time.
Accept all of them with love.
Send this letter to people who have touched your life. Let them know how important they are to you.
Have lunch with God.
